Adjusting traffic on 2 routes in the center of Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City adjusts the traffic organization of Le Loi and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia streets (Saigon ward) to serve the organization of a fire fighting drill.

The Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Ho Chi Minh City Police said that the adjustment time is as follows:

Organize training, gathering, and rehearsal on 2 days: October 29 and October 30 ( Starting at 5am, expected to finish cleaning at 6am the same day).

Official drill organization: At 8:30 a.m. on October 31 (expected to end the cleaning at 9:45 a.m. on the same day).

The internship location is at Saigon Centre Building (Saigon Ward). The facade of the building is used for organizing drills: The facade on Le Loi Street (from Nam Ky Khoi Nghia to Pasteur) and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia (from Le Loi to the technology taxi pick-up and drop-off point of the building).

To avoid the section of Le Loi Street (mixed lane) and the section of Nam Ky Khoi Nghia (main side of Saigon Centre building) being used to serve the event, people participating in traffic can travel in the following avoidance directions:

Direction 1: Le Loi Street, from Ben Thanh Market to Dong Khoi: Temporarily move into the car lane of Le Loi Street or parallel roads, adjacent to Le Loi Street such as Ham Nghi, Nguyen Trung Truc, Ly Tu Trong...

Direction 2: Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, from Le Thanh Ton towards Ham Nghi, Vo Van Kiet: Moving into Le Loi towards Ben Thanh Market to go to Ham Nghi, Tran Hung Dao or entering Le Loi (car lane) towards Nguyen Hue, Ton Duc Thang.

The Traffic Police Department noted that drivers of vehicles traveling through the area where fire fighting and rescue drills are held at Saigon Centre Building should reduce speed and follow the instructions of the Traffic Police force, forces participating in ensuring traffic order and safety or traffic signaling systems on the road.

Based on the actual traffic situation, the Traffic Police Department will organize forces to adjust traffic flow appropriately, minimizing the impact on the daily lives of people traveling through the organized area and this route.
