On October 22, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee received and worked with a working delegation of Pacific Construction Group Limited (China) led by Mr. Nghiem Gioi Hoa - founder and Chairman of the Group.
Pacific Construction Group Limited Liability Company (abbreviated as Pacific Construction Group) is one of two companies under the Trang Nghiem Research Institute, in the group of 500 largest enterprises globally. Established in 1986, the Group operates in the fields of investment, construction, management and operation of infrastructure.
This group established a representative office in Vietnam in April 2019 and Pacific Vietnam Construction Limited Liability Company in September 2019 with a charter capital of 500 million USD.
The Group has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Hanoi People's Committee on investment and infrastructure construction in the 2023-2027 period with a total investment capital of no less than 5 billion USD. Including projects such as: Investing in the construction of Tu Lien Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge; Hanoi Urban Railway Line No. 5, Van Cao - Hoa Lac section. Both projects were started on May 19, 2025 and August 19, 2025.
Speaking at the meeting, a representative of the Pacific Group said that they wanted to participate in key local infrastructure projects. When participating in local projects, the Group is committed to fully complying with legal regulations, ensuring publicity and transparency, and trying its best to implement the project.
In particular, when implementing the project, the Group is always ready to transfer technology without charging fees. Hopefully the province will introduce a location to establish an office in Bac Ninh, put it into operation soon, contributing to the growth of Bac Ninh province.
Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hong Thai said that in the first 9 months of 2025, Bac Ninh's economy will grow by 10.12%, striving to reach 11.5% for the whole year, contributing to the overall growth target of the whole country.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai hopes that the Pacific Construction Group will consider and research to support the province in building the Smart Accounting Center of Bac Ninh province.
The province is committed to creating the most favorable conditions for mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures; at the same time, the Department of Finance, the Department of Construction and relevant agencies are assigned to closely coordinate with the Group to discuss details, conduct surveys and promote effective investment in accordance with Vietnamese law.
