On November 24, in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) chaired a meeting, giving opinions on the content of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province, term 2025-2030.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Quoc Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province; leaders of Committees and units in the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province.
Presenting content related to the preparation for the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hung Yen province, term 2025-2030, Ms. Ngo Thi Kim Hoan, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, said that with the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress will continue to promote the strength of national solidarity; exercise the people's mastery; innovate organization, content and methods of operation; join efforts, unite, and be determined to build a rich, civilized, prosperous and happy Hung Yen province.
From the results achieved in the past term, the 2025-2030 term, the draft political report sets out directions to enhance the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, promote the strength of great national unity, the strength of the People, innovate the organization, content, and methods of operation, join hands, be unanimous, and determined to build Hung Yen province to be beautiful, civilized, prosperous, and happy.
The draft also sets out 11 specific targets and 3 breakthroughs for the term. The expected number of members of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province for the 2025-2030 term is 120.
After listening to the opinions of the delegates and speaking at the meeting, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha highly appreciated the methodical and serious preparation for the congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province and suggested that, from the opinions of the delegates attending, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province should absorb and revise the content of the document submitted to the Congress to suit the actual situation in the locality.
Vice Chairwoman - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha stated that the draft political report needs to update the new contents and guiding viewpoints of the Politburo, the Secretariat and the guiding content of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to supplement the 6 action programs of the term, in which it is necessary to clarify the role of socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State in each action program and emphasize the province's specific solutions associated with the new organizational model when socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State after the merger, and reorganize the apparatus according to the model of local government at 2 levels.
Regarding the content of the talks at the Congress, it is necessary to determine the quantity, duration, and content of the talks at each working session to ensure innovation, diversity, and science.
For personnel participating in the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that it is necessary to select outstanding individuals representing in fields such as: scientists, intellectuals, experts in information technology, digital transformation, ... to promote the role of members in activities of supervision, social criticism, gathering the great solidarity bloc in the whole province and in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
