A traffic accident took away the right leg of Ms. Be Thi Bang (born in 1987, from Cao Bang) when she was only 24 years old. Doctors once said she would have to sit in a wheelchair for life, but not accepting fate and fearing dependence on a wheelchair, the Tay ethnic girl chose to use crutches.
Thus, she persistently practiced to maintain balance on one leg and pursued her passion for dancing. That willpower helped her become a dancer and win the championship in the "Beauty of the Crescent Moon Vietnam 2019" contest.

Besides the emotional dances, Ms. Bang is also known through inspirational programs and projects for the community such as "Nang yeu thuong" and "Xe lan yeu thuong".
Some friends saw that I could walk well with crutches and texted to ask, wanting to buy a pair like mine to use. I said that if you liked it, I would give it to you. When you received crutches, you were very happy even though the gift was not of great value. From then on, I had the idea to make a project to soothe the pain, encourage the spirit of people with disabilities, and at the same time hope to inspire the community, and arouse the spirit of young people to live beautifully," Ms. Bang shared.
The cases that are supported are mainly connected by Ms. Bang through social networks. Sometimes people text directly to share their circumstances, sometimes she posts public announcements online for people who need to introduce themselves. After that, she directly investigates and carefully filters to ensure that gifts reach the right people they need.
I want those small gifts to reach the right people who need them," Ms. Bang confided.
All funding for the projects is saved by herself to implement. She has never called for support, because she believes that the value of giving is not in quantity but in sincerity.
She said: "Before, I really liked shopping, there were clothes I bought but I didn't use them and I realized it was wasteful. Since then, I have lived more frugally. After 1-2 months of accumulation, I planned to buy crutches or wheelchairs to give to people with disabilities or implement small community-oriented projects.
To date, Ms. Bang has given nearly 200 crutches and nearly 20 wheelchairs, bringing opportunities for movement and community integration to many people with disabilities.

Although the charity journey encountered many challenges, she never considered it difficult. On the contrary, the joy and happiness of the recipient became the motivation for her to continue. Accompanying people in the same situation is not only sharing but also a way to self-healing, nurturing tolerance and a better will to live every day.
In addition to projects to donate crutches and wheelchairs, Ms. Bang also uses her dances to spread inspiration at hospitals, community events, fundraising programs for orphans, cancer patients, hematology patients, autistic children or children affected by traffic accidents...

“All those experiences and journeys always motivate me to aim for more meaningful things every day. Loving projects become motivation, will stick with me for the rest of my life, and are a way to send small but meaningful messages to inspire.
It doesn't matter who you are, your physique or circumstances, everyone can create value for themselves and their lives. I myself always aim for'a life without discrimination', without discrimination to love. And I will continue to write that inspiring story," Ms. Bang shared.
