On March 2nd, in Dong Hai commune, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province organized a meeting between candidates for the 16th National Assembly of Vietnam, constituency No. 4, and about 200 voters from Dong Hai, Long Vinh and Long Thanh communes.
At the conference, candidates presented action programs, clearly stating goals and work orientations if trusted to be elected as National Assembly deputies for the 2026–2031 term. The content focused on socio-economic development, ensuring social security and improving people's lives.
Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy of Long Thanh commune said that she closely monitors the action program and highly appreciates the sense of responsibility of the candidates. According to her, National Assembly deputies need to be close to the people, regularly contact and listen to voters' opinions.
We place our trust and send our wishes for jobs, taking care of social security, especially for people who are still in difficulty, and promoting tourism development. Delegates must fulfill their commitments to the people," she added.
Mr. Ngo Van Nang - Dong Hai commune said that he has a lot of affection for the candidates participating in this election. According to him, the action program has clearly shown the direction of local development in the coming time.
We send our aspirations for infrastructure investment, considering landslide areas, areas at risk of landslides, supporting production and increasing income for people. National Assembly deputies need to truly represent the voice of voters, maintain regular contact with the people," Mr. Nang shared.

Speaking at the voter meeting, Mr. Tran Van Lau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee - representing the candidates respectfully thanked the voters for their heartfelt opinions on social security work.
According to Mr. Lau, these are important contents for candidates to study, supplement, and concretize their action commitments if they are trusted by voters to be elected as National Assembly deputies of the 16th term.
Mobilizing social resources into infrastructure construction is a necessary direction, contributing to meeting the travel needs and improving people's lives," Mr. Lau added.
Voter meetings are organized by the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province in coordination with the Provincial Election Commission from July 2 - March 3, creating conditions for 30 candidates in 6 constituencies to present action programs, so that voters have more information and wisely choose to elect 18 National Assembly deputies of the 16th term of Vietnam.
