According to the report of Da Nang City People's Committee, by December 30, after a month of implementation, the repair of damaged houses had completed the entire set plan.
A total of 361 damaged houses have now been repaired, reaching 100% of the plan. Compared to the previous week's report, the number of completed houses increased by 54 more. Currently, no houses are undergoing unfinished repair or have not been deployed, showing a drastic direction and synchronous approach from the city to the grassroots level.
For cases where houses collapsed, collapsed or were swept away by floods and had to be rebuilt, the city has started construction of all 144 houses, reaching 100% of the number to be rebuilt. Of which, 19 houses have been completed and handed over to people for use, accounting for 13% of the total number of newly built houses. The remaining houses are being focused on construction with a spirit of urgency and continuity, expected to be completed according to plan.
The implementation process shows the synchronous involvement of departments, agencies, branches, armed forces and local authorities. Resources are mobilized flexibly, construction is organized reasonably, ensuring progress and technical requirements. Repair and construction of houses are carried out closely to the reality of each household, prioritizing difficult cases, suffering heavy damage due to natural disasters.
The results achieved not only help people soon have stable housing but also create a foundation for restoring life and production, minimizing the long-term consequences after storms and floods. This is also proof of the effectiveness of the Quang Trung Campaign when implemented with a spirit of speed, responsibility and towards the people.
The City People's Committee continues to request relevant units to focus resources on the houses under construction, strengthen quality supervision, ensure safety and durability of works. The overarching goal is to complete the entire program according to plan, helping people soon stabilize their lives, feel secure in labor and production.
