On July 24, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hue City held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030 with the motto: Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development.
This is an important political activity, taking place in the context of Hue City transforming according to the urban government model, towards sustainable development and acceleration in the new period.
The Party Committee was established on the basis of merging 1 Party Committee and 11 Party cells under the Front and socio-political organizations, with 192 Party members.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, the affiliated Party organizations have innovated the content and leadership methods, completed 100% of the resolution's targets, improved the quality of consultation, built a team of solidarity, discipline, studying and following Uncle Ho in conjunction with the work of Party building and rectification.
This Congress sets out the goal of improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee; promoting digital transformation and administrative reform; building a team of cadres and Party members with qualities, capacity, and public ethics to meet new requirements.
Along with that, it is to promote the role of a bridge of the Front in consolidating the great national unity bloc, strongly focusing on the grassroots, creating social consensus, contributing to building Hue City to develop comprehensively, worthy of the status of a heritage city.
At the congress, the Standing Committee of the Party Committees of Hue City Party agencies appointed the Party Executive Committee of 15 people and the Standing Committee of 5 people.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van - Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary for the 2025 - 2030 term. Mr. Nguyen Chi Quang - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City - holds the position of Deputy Secretary.
The Congress also announced the appointment of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hue City, term 2025 - 2030, consisting of 5 comrades.
