Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFF), Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front chaired the Conference.
Co-chairing the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Trade Unions, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central Trade Unions: Tran Thang, Ngo Van Cuong.
Also attending were members of the Party Central Committee: Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Dinh Khang, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union.
Mr. Bui Quang Huy, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Senior Lieutenant General Be Xuan Truong, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association and leaders of Party committees and Party cells under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations attended the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that immediately after its establishment on January 24, 2025, the Party Executive Committee has developed working regulations, perfected the apparatus organization and focused on implementing a number of key tasks, achieving very important initial results such as: Implementing Resolution No. 18/NQ-TW on continuing to innovate and streamline the apparatus of the political system to operate effectively and efficiently; operating a 2-level local government model associated with the organization and reorganization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State on the tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Along with that, the Party Committee has encouraged businesses and people of all walks of life to actively participate in socio-economic development, basically contributing to GDP growth in the first 6 months of the year of 7.52%.
With a large workload and high political requirements and tasks, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations, and affiliated Party committees have made efforts to strive, unite, and closely follow the direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat to effectively and comprehensively carry out assigned political tasks, Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized.
Presenting a preliminary report on the work in the first 6 months of the year, key tasks for the last 6 months of 2025 of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations, Deputy Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations Ngo Van Cuong said that in the first 6 months of 2025, although newly established and operating in conditions with many difficulties, large workloads, many new and difficult tasks, arising..., the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations and affiliated Party committees have always closely followed the direction of the Central Committee, proactively and promptly proposed policies, developed programs, regulations, and work plans to effectively lead the implementation of political tasks and Party building work.
Under the direct leadership and direction of the Standing Committee, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the key political tasks of agencies, units and the entire system of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State continue to be vigorously implemented, achieving positive results. The Party Committee has promoted the core political role, comprehensively led the activities of affiliated party organizations, ensured unity in the leadership of the Party in mass mobilization work, the activities of the Front and socio-political organizations, contributed to consolidating the great national unity bloc and enhancing the people's trust in the Party and the State.
In particular, the Standing Committee has focused on leading and directing the implementation of the summary of Resolution 18-NQ/TW; the conclusions and instructions of the Central Committee such as Conclusion No. 126, 127, 128-KL/TW, Official Dispatch No. 43-CV/BCD and Plan No. 47-KH/BCD of the Central Steering Committee. Strictly direct the implementation of Conclusion 167-KL/TW dated June 13, 2025 of the Politburo, which has completed the announcement and awarding of decisions on organization and staff on June 30, 2025.
Direct the implementation of 5 important projects: Project to reorganize and streamline the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, mass associations assigned by the Party and the State (central, provincial and commune levels); Project to regulate the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Project to review the functions, organizational tasks, and apparatus of press agencies under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and mass associations at the Central level assigned by the Party and the State to ensure unified management and operational efficiency in the direction of maximum streamlining, only necessary to maintain units; Project to reorganize party organizations after the merger and consolidation of the project; Project to reorganize the organizational apparatus of the Party and the Party Committee of Vietnam - Vietnam Fatherland Front under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Along with that, the Standing Committee has directed the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution related to the Vietnam Fatherland Front; amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Law on Trade Unions, the Law on Youth, the Law on Grassroots Democracy; Establishing 25 affiliated party organizations; promptly concretizing the Central Committee's resolutions, directives, and conclusions into documents to lead and direct the implementation in the Party Committee; leading and directing the preparation and organization of the Party Congresses at all levels of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Central organizations towards the 14th National Party Congress in the spirit of Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 and Directive 45-CT/TW dated April 14, 2025 of the Politburo and the Central Committee's directives...
At the conference, delegates focused on discussing the results of implementing the summary of Resolution 18-NQ/TW; results of leadership and direction in preparing and organizing the Congresses at all levels of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations and the thoughts, aspirations, and situations of the people, union members, association members, and Party members in the past time.
In his concluding remarks, Mr. Do Van Chien acknowledged, accepted and discussed a number of contents that the delegates expressed at the conference and will issue a document concluding the meeting to organize implementation; assigned the office to complete the report to sign and issue according to the Party's regulations.
