On July 21, the General Service Center of Dong Hoi ward (Quang Tri province) said that at about 6 am on the same day, rescue forces promptly rescued 2 tourists who drowned while swimming in the sea.
According to information from the unit, at the above time, Mr. Tran Van Truyen (born 1979) and Mr. Tran Van Cuong (born 1982, both from Vinh Phuc) went to swim at the beach in the dangerous area in front of Truong Phap street.
During the bathing, both swam far from the shore and fell into drowning.
Discovering the incident, rescue forces of the Dong Hoi ward General Service Center quickly approached the scene, using water motorbikes to bring the two victims ashore.
After being brought ashore, functional forces performed initial first aid, helping the victims overcome the critical condition, and at the same time contacted the 115 Emergency Center to take them to the hospital for continued monitoring, treatment and health recovery.
