To celebrate the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2026), a delegation of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front and central mass organizations led by Mr. Nguyen Phi Long - Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - offered incense at the National Special Relic Site of Nga ba Dong Loc (Dong Loc commune, Ha Tinh province).
The working delegation came to offer incense and lay wreaths at the National Martyrs' Memorial Stele of Youth Volunteers - a place that commemorates more than 4,000 Youth Volunteer martyrs nationwide and the tomb of 10 female Heroic Youth Volunteer martyrs who bravely sacrificed at Nga ba Dong Loc.
During the anti-American resistance war for national salvation, Nga ba Dong Loc was one of the key points of fierce attacks. From April to October 1968, this place continuously suffered bombardments by the US Air Force with nearly 50,000 bombs, turning the small land into a "fireplace" in the battlefield.

At one point, more than 16,000 officers, soldiers, and youth volunteers stayed day and night, defusing bombs, opening roads, keeping the traffic artery from breaking. The heroic sacrifice of many officers and soldiers, especially 10 female youth volunteers, created the immortal legend at Nga ba Dong Loc.
Mr. Nguyen Phi Long and members of the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for territorial integrity and the peaceful, prosperous, and happy life of the people.
The delegation vowed to continue to promote tradition, strive, contribute strength and intelligence, and contribute to building the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous and wealthy.
