On November 28, before the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030, the delegation held a solemn flower offering ceremony at the President Ho Chi Minh Monument Park (Nguyen Hue Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
The delegation was led by Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. Also attending were comrade Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, and nearly 200 delegates.
The delegation observed a minute of silence and offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh. The delegates expressed their infinite gratitude and respect to remember his great contributions to the cause of national liberation, national reunification and building a peaceful, independent, unified and prosperous socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
President Ho Chi Minh is a shining example of revolutionary heroism, fighting solidarity, revolutionary ethics need - save - be honest - be fair, and be selfless.
After that, the delegation attended the opening ceremony and visited the exhibition "Vietnam Fatherland Front - Promoting the strength of great solidarity" at Lam Son Park and attended the social security program in Saigon Ward.
The photo exhibition, taking place from November 28 to 30, has the theme "Vietnam Fatherland Front - The Power of Great National Unity", with 3 main photo clusters: Introducing the activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City; promoting the strength of national solidarity to build and develop the city; the people of Ho Chi Minh City unite with one heart, towards people affected by storms and floods.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Truong Thi Bich Hanh shared that each photo is a story, recording the efforts of the Front cadres, organizations and especially the responsible community participation of the people. He expressed his hope that the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of Ho Chi Minh City will continue to innovate and create to expand, strengthen and promote the strength of the great national unity bloc.
The 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Ho Chi Minh City, term 2025 - 2030, will officially take place for 1.5 days (November 29 and 30 morning) at the Binh Duong Exhibition Convention Center. The congress is expected to have 880 delegates, including 500 official delegates and 380 invited delegates.
