The Front joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses
In recent years, under the leadership of the Party, Vietnam's social policies have achieved many great achievements of historical significance. With the creative thinking and approach of Party committees and local authorities, the participation of the Fatherland Front (FPA) and the entire political system, after 1 year and 4 months and 13 days since the launch and 10 months and 21 days of implementing the 450-day and night peak, Vietnam has basically completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, 5 years and 4 months earlier than the goal in Resolution 42-NQ/TW in 2023 of the Party Central Committee, setting a goal of completely eliminating the situation of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2030.

At the central level, the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated to mobilize businesses, organizations and individuals to donate over 350 billion VND.
In the locality, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, together with member agencies of the Steering Committee, mobilizes organizations and individuals to mobilize support for funding and materials, especially mobilizing party members, union members, members of the Trade Union, Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Youth Union, Veterans' Association, along with military and police forces to support millions of working days to help households build houses.
The Front has promoted its focal role in receiving, managing and using support funds from organizations and individuals through the "For the Poor" fund to deploy support to the people. To facilitate the reception and use of housing funds for people, the Prime Minister has proposed that the Vietnam Fatherland Front continue to receive and use funds through the "For the Poor" fund at all levels. According to the report of the Central Steering Committee, the amount of funding mobilized for the program is up to VND 24,761 billion, most of which is received through the local "For the Poor" fund.

On September 1, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, under the witness of General Secretary To Lam and First Secretary, President of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez and the high-ranking delegations of Cuba and Vietnam, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, on behalf of the Party, State and people of Vietnam, presented the first round of VND 385 billion to support the people of Cuba.
"The program spreads a strong message of international sharing, empathy and solidarity; at the same time affirming that, in any circumstances, the Vietnamese people are always on the shoulder to shoulder with the Cuban people" - Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized.
This is a continuation of the 65-year tradition of affection, where brotherhood has overcome all geographical distances and economic conditions to become a sustainable spiritual value.
Mr. Do Van Chien stated that the program to mobilize the strength of national solidarity, calling on all classes of Vietnamese people to support materially and spiritually towards the brotherly Cuban people; calling on all levels, sectors, member organizations of the Front, the business community, individuals in the country and foreigners working and living in Vietnam, through practical actions, helping them overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and continue to develop the country according to the socialist path chosen by the Cuban Party and people.
