Introducing personnel to participate in the 10th Party Committee, Presidium, and Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front

At the 4th Conference of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, held on the morning of July 9, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy presented a report on the consultation of personnel to participate in the Committee, the Presidium, and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

Accordingly, implementing the charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has asked for the Chairman's Committee's opinion on personnel to participate in the Committee, the Presidium, and Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

The personnel participating in the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front include 23 (representatives of member organizations are 2 members, Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities are 19 members, outstanding individuals are 1 member, full-time staff are 1 member).

The personnel participating in the Presidium include 7 members (of which, 1 is the representative of the member organization, 5 are the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities; 1 is the full-time cadre).

Regarding the personnel of the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, according to the Personnel Project of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, the Standing Committee is 6 members. Implementing the Project to reorganize and streamline the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State (central level, provincial and commune levels), approved by the Party Central Committee (Resolution No. 60-NQ/TW dated April 12, 2025), the number of Standing Committees is 9-11 members, of which the Presidium of 5 socio-political organizations is the Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Based on the above documents, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has proposed that the Presidium adjust the structure of the Standing Committee from 6 to 11 and jointly elected members of the Presidium to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

From the content of the Report, the delegates agreed to vote on the introduction for the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to consult and elect personnel to participate in the Committee, Presidium, and Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, term X, 2024-2029.
