According to the report of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, currently, most departments, branches and units under the old Binh Duong Provincial People's Committee have a plan to arrange and merge into the overall apparatus of specialized agencies and public service units under the new Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
Currently, only the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Provincial Industrial Park Management Board, and Thu Dau Mot University are waiting for the arrangement plan of the competent authority.
The team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers at agencies and units in Binh Duong has been arranged and assigned specific tasks at the new agencies and units to continue performing assigned tasks.
Some agencies and units, due to the large number of civil servants and public employees, temporarily maintain their facilities in Binh Duong area.
According to the assessment, the civil service team mostly has stable work experience and ideology. Many cadres have a sense of responsibility and are ready to take on tasks at the new administrative unit.
Currently, 8/14 departments and branches have transferred cadres and civil servants to Ho Chi Minh City for work. In which the Department of Construction moved the entire unit to its headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City;

There are 7 departments and branches that still have a department in Binh Duong area to receive documents and take charge of the area, including: Department of Education and Training, Department of Justice, Office of the People's Committee, Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, Department of Health, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Science and Technology;
There are 6 departments and branches that have not moved, including: Department of Finance, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Inspectorate, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Home Affairs, Department of Culture and Sports.
Most of the cadres and civil servants comply with their assigned assignments, but still have the desire to work in the Binh Duong area due to difficulties in travel time, not finding accommodation, and not having official housing.

Reducing 35 public service units
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs will coordinate with departments and branches to complete the project to merge specialized agencies under the new Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee. At the same time, advise on issuing decisions on converting management agencies for public service units in Binh Duong province. To date, 35 public service units at all levels have been reduced. Issue a decision to dissolve 129 associations and 4 district-level funds in accordance with regulations.
The Public Administration Service Center system operates stably
In the first days of operation, the new Commune and Ward Public Administration Service Centers received and processed 17,798 records, showing that the need for people to handle administrative procedures was very large and the system has begun to operate stably.
