On December 16, news from Military Region 5 said that in the process of helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters in Hoa Xuan commune, an engineering soldier picked up property dropped by people and handed it over to the local government to find and return the owner.
On the morning of December 14, in Hiep Dong village, Hoa Xuan commune, corporal Le Anh Quan (Group 4, Battalion 2, Engineering Brigade 270, Military Region 5) picked up a gold necklace about 50cm long, a blue stone cover covered with white metal and a pink round plastic box.
Immediately afterwards, captain Le Anh Quan promptly reported to the unit commander.

The 270th Engineering Brigade coordinated with local authorities and Hoa Xuan Commune Police to make a record and receive all assets voluntarily handed over by soldier Le Anh Quan, in order to find and return them to the owner.
This is a simple act but has profound humanitarian meaning, clearly demonstrating the honesty, sense of responsibility and awareness of "serving the people" of soldiers in the new era.
