At the conference, delegates heard the announcement of decisions on the establishment of the Farmers' Association of Thach Khoi Ward; the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the Association for the 2025-2030 term. Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong Lan - Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Ward Fatherland Front Committee - was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Thach Khoi Ward.
The conference also discussed and agreed to approve the Working Regulations and assign specific tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; at the same time, develop a work program for the Association in the last 6 months of 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nguyen Vu Xuan Thi affirmed that the early improvement of the Association organization is of great significance in promoting the role and position of the Farmers' Association organization in the new administrative unit.
With more than 8,000 members, the Ward Farmers' Association needs to quickly stabilize the organization, clearly assign people, work, responsibilities, promote roles in propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines to farmers; promote the transformation of production models, apply science and technology, protect the environment, develop the collective economy, participate in the OCOP program, cooperate with new methods.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee also emphasized improving the quality of party activities, developing new members, supporting farmers to start businesses, and replicating the emulation movement "Good farmers produce and do business - helping each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably".
