The People's Committee of Tu Minh Ward (Hai Phong City) coordinated with Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to thoroughly handle violations at the dike protection corridor of Kim Son canal, and at the same time requested people to strictly comply with the law.
Through the review of Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited, there are currently 3 points in Tu Minh ward (Hai Phong city) violating irrigation works on the left side of Kim Son canal, in the old Cam Doai commune area.
These violations are all households living in the dyke protection corridor; including 2 works existing before the Law on Irrigation took effect (July 1, 2018) and 1 work arising after the law took effect.
In the face of the above situation, the People's Committee of Tu Minh Ward will coordinate with Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation Company Limited to thoroughly handle existing violations, while strengthening propaganda and supervision to prevent new violations from arising.
The Ward People's Committee requires people to strictly comply with the provisions of the Law on Dikes and the Law on Irrigation; proactively dismantle illegal constructions, restore them to their original state; do not illegally build, do not encroach on irrigation corridors, do not dump waste or waste into canals, causing flow congestion and environmental pollution.
In case of intentional violation, organizations and individuals will be forced to dismantle and strictly handled according to the provisions of law.
