On November 25, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Khanh Hoa province announced the focal point for receiving relief goods in affected communes and wards, to ensure timely support to meet the needs of the people.
The detailed information of the focal points to promptly support people affected by the recent floods was quickly and to the right needs.

According to statistics, the whole Khanh Hoa province has 15 deaths, of which 8 victims were due to landslides on Khanh Le, Khanh Son passes and National Highway 27C; 6 people died due to floods, and 1 case is missing.
In addition, 20 people were injured in incidents related to heavy rain and landslides in many localities.
Regarding people's lives, prolonged flooding continues to cause many difficulties. 87 households with 364 people in Dien Dien and Ninh Phuoc communes are still flooded, with water levels reaching 40cm in some places.
In the whole province, 30,655 households with 115,384 people were flooded 1-3m deep, causing serious disruption to daily life and production.
The infrastructure system also suffered great damage. Many irrigation works and dykes were damaged, including freshwater lakes with broken breakage walls, erosion of downstream roofs; the North bank of Cai Phan Rang river dike had landslides. The whole province recorded more than 5.5km of inland ditches and 4.3km of river banks being eroded.
Regarding traffic, a series of important routes such as National Highway 27C, 27, 26, 26B, 27B and many provincial roads were cut off due to soil and rocks spilling onto the road surface. Many schools were deeply flooded, teaching equipment was severely damaged, and students' books were swept away.
In the agricultural sector, Khanh Hoa recorded more than 13,300 hectares of rice, crops, and fruit trees damaged; 241 livestock and 24,222 poultry died or were swept away. About 157 hectares of seafood (shrimp, snails, ponds...) were affected by floodwaters overflowing the banks, damaging many ponds.
Faced with this reality, Khanh Hoa province has implemented many urgent measures to support people and restore infrastructure.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has spent 112 billion VND to provide immediate support to communes and wards to serve the work of preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. At the same time, the province has provided 2,000 tons of rice from national reserves to promptly support people in flooded areas.
Authorities are continuing to survey the damage, speed up traffic clearance, repair infrastructure works and organize the distribution of relief goods to each affected area, ensuring that people do not go hungry or lack housing during and after floods.
