Two great solidarity houses were inaugurated by Ms. Tran Thi Boc (Dau Vu residential group) and the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien (Dong Tu 2 residential group).
Ms. Tran Thi Boc's family (Dau Vu residential group) is a household with meritorious services to the revolution in particularly difficult circumstances. She herself has been disabled since childhood. The old house, a level 4 house, has seriously deteriorated, cracked walls, rotten wooden beams, dilapidated roofs, not ensuring living safety.
After the survey and mobilization process, the new house was built with an area of nearly 40 m2, flower brick floor, flat roof, spacious and solid aluminum and glass doors. Total construction cost of 300 million VND, of which: The "For the Poor" Fund of the ward supported 100 million VND, family and clan contributed 200 million VND.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien's household (Dong Tu 2 residential group) is in particularly difficult circumstances, family members have limited awareness, and their income mainly depends on agricultural production, which is unstable. The old house is seriously degraded, not ensuring safety for living. With the attention of the ward government and the support of Kien An Xanh Joint Stock Company, the new house was built spaciously with an area of nearly 60 m2. The total construction cost is 400 million VND, of which: Kien An Xanh Joint Stock Company supported 200 million VND, the family and clan contributed 200 million VND. On the occasion of the inauguration, Kien An Xanh Joint Stock Company donated 2 new beds, helping the family have more stable living conditions.
The two houses were completed and put into use right before the Lunar New Year, carrying practical and deeply humane meaning, helping families celebrate Tet in a new, spacious, solid, and warm and meaningful home.
