Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School has a scale of 31 classes and more than 1,000 students. In which, the primary level has 15 classes with 450 students and the secondary level has 16 classes with 560 students, the number of students in need of boarding is 752 students.
With such a scale, it is suitable for the number of students studying at primary and secondary schools in the commune; suitable for the newly invested facilities. At the same time, it ensures stable and effective teaching organization, boarding and semi-boarding management right from the first school year" - the leader of the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province added.

Previously, on July 27, 2025, the Si Pa Phin Inter-level Boarding Primary and Secondary School project was officially started and is the first project among 248 schools in land border communes to be implemented according to the policy of the Politburo.
The Si Pa Phin Commune Primary and Secondary Inter-level Boarding School project is a group B project, with a total investment of 220 billion VND (excluding compensation and site clearance costs) from Hanoi City's support capital and socialized capital.

The project is implemented in Nam Chim 1 village, Si Pa Phin commune. The time and progress of implementation in 2025-2026 are invested by the Department of Education and Training of Dien Bien province.
The planned investment scale is to build 31 new classrooms; 1 educational equipment room, 1 school counseling room and integrated education support for students with disabilities; 14 subject classrooms, 1 library room; about 120 dormitory rooms for students, 15 office rooms, living rooms for parents...
