On May 18, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union coordinated with the Son La Provincial Youth Union to organize the inauguration and handover ceremony of the Ngo Ba Co Noi historical relic site phase II in Mai Son commune, Son La province.
The project has a total investment of more than 43 billion VND, planned on an area of more than 10.5ha. After nearly 10 months of construction, the project was completed on schedule with many items such as: building a new spiritual tower 20.07m high; maintaining monuments and reliefs; repairing display houses, yard systems, technical infrastructure, fire prevention and fighting and embankments.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Quang Huy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (MTTQ), central mass organizations, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front XI term, First Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee - proposed to soon finalize and hand over the project; and at the same time requested effective management and exploitation to make this place a "red address" for traditional education for the young generation.
On this occasion, the Central Youth Union presented 20 gifts to former youth volunteers and poor students overcoming difficulties in the area.
