The Congress with the theme "Enhancing the core political role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province; promoting cultural identity, the strength of great national unity; strongly arousing the will to be self-reliant, self-reliant, creative, and innovative, the aspiration to contribute together and unanimously to building Gia Lai into a fairly developed province of the whole country".
Opening the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province Nguyen Ngoc Luong emphasized that the Congress is an important event, a period of extensive political activity, creating a strong change in the awareness and actions of all classes of people, creating a new momentum in the construction and development of the province. Everyone is sending great confidence and expectations to the important decisions of the Congress.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong suggested that Congress delegates continue to promote their intelligence, experience and responsibility in the discussion, fully and deeply identify the advantages, difficulties, opportunities and challenges; identify key tasks to arouse potential, creativity, promote all resources; create social consensus, participate in Party building, State building, clean and strong political system...
At the Congress, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the past term. He highly agreed with the direction, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 period submitted to the Congress.
"I request the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the new term to thoroughly grasp the viewpoints, orientations and requirements for the Front's work in the new situation in the Documents of the 14th National Party Congress; Resolution of the 1st Provincial Party Congress; closely follow the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee and Central organizations for the 2025-2030 term; consistently 3 guiding viewpoints and 6 key tasks.
In particular, we must take the People as the center, subject, goal and driving force of innovation; combine democracy - discipline - rule of law; shift from a formal movement to a practical result as a guideline throughout the work of the Front during this term", Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy emphasized.
The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front also sent his congratulations to the comrades elected by the Congress of the Board of Directors to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province for the 2025-2030 term and elected to join the Standing Committee to hold the positions of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
"I believe that this will be a leadership team with full qualities, capacity, and the strength to lead the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province to successfully implement the resolution and action program of the Congress; the work of the Provincial Front will achieve solid results in the new term, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of building Gia Lai province to become increasingly rich, civilized, and happy," said Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy.
At the Congress, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy presented 30 billion VND in support to Gia Lai from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, to help the province overcome the consequences of storms and floods, soon restore production and stabilize people's lives.
