Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and members of the working delegation directly inspected the main hall - the venue for the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and some functional rooms serving the Congress.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and comrades in the delegation praised the spirit of responsibility, proactiveness and efforts of agencies and units in the process of deploying preparation work with a spirit of urgency, seriousness, and thoroughness. At the same time, they contributed opinions on some contents such as the display space in the main hall, the decoration of the ceremony in the central hall area, and the sound and lighting system.
Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai requested agencies and units serving the Congress to focus highly, strengthen close coordination, and accelerate the progress of implementing assigned tasks.
At the inspection, representatives of agencies and units reported to Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai and the working delegation on the situation and progress of preparation for the Congress.
The Congress Organizing Committee will continue to strengthen inspection and urging to ensure that activities operate smoothly and effectively.
To date, the National Convention Center has completed all items of renovation, repair, and upgrade of the equipment system. Decoration plans in the hall such as flags, banners, slogans, flowers... have basically been prepared.
According to the plan, the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2026 - 2031 will take place on May 11, 12 and 13, 2026 at the National Convention Center, with the participation of more than 1,300 delegates.
On the morning of May 11, there will be a ceremony to pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh, an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs and a meeting of heads of delegations attending the Congress.
In the afternoon of the same day, a preparatory session will take place. Delegates will participate in discussions and consultations to elect the Presidium and the Secretariat of the Congress; approve the program and working regulations; listen to reports on the situation of delegates attending the Congress; report on reviewing the activities of the Central Committee, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the period 2024 - 2026; consider the submission to amend and supplement the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
After that, delegates will participate in discussions at the Congress's discussion centers.
