On the afternoon of November 18, Lam Dong Farmers' Association held the first Conference to commend advanced typical examples.
The conference was attended by Ms. Pham Thi Phuc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Mr. Le Trong Yen - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Da Cat Vinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, along with representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union, departments, branches and more than 300 outstanding farmer delegates, representing nearly 31,500 members in the area.
Conference to summarize the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025, and propose directions and tasks for 2025-2030.
Over the past 5 years, farmers' associations and associations have been awarded 2 Third Class Labor Medals by the President, 7 Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister; the Central Association awarded 4 Emulation Flags, 96 collectives and 182 individuals with Certificates of Merit, awarded 933 Commemorative Medals "For the Vietnamese Farmers", recognized 18 "Excellent Vietnamese Farmers", 13 "Scientific Houses of Farmers" and 5 Outstanding Cooperatives.
The Provincial People's Committee awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit to 78 collectives and 123 individuals; the Provincial Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 411 collectives and 648 individuals.
Farmers' Union members also participated in 35 solutions of the Provincial and Central "Farm Technical Innovation" Contest, of which 15 solutions were recognized and won prizes.
At the conference, Lam Dong Farmers' Association awarded Certificates of Merit to 14 collectives and 111 individuals, and at the same time proposed that the Central Committee of the Association and the Provincial People's Committee award 12 Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals.
The unit also nominated 3 typical advanced farmers to attend the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
