On September 18, at the Provincial Cultural Conference Center, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and the Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province organized the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress, 2025-2030, with the participation of about 400 delegates.
The Congress was attended by comrades: Tran Van Son - Minister, Head of the Government Office; Tran Quoc Cuong - Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.
Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Thanh Do - Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee emphasized: "In the 2020-2025 period, the province's patriotic emulation movements have developed strongly and achieved many results with rich forms, practical content, focus and key points".
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also launched a emulation movement for love, period 2025-2030, with the theme: "Solidarity, promote the tradition of "Heroic Dien Bien Phu", compete to build Dien Bien province to develop quickly and sustainably!".
At the Congress, delegates listened to inspiring stories from 5 typical advanced groups and individuals.
In his speech, Minister and Head of the Government Office Tran Van Son acknowledged and commended the results that the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Dien Bien province have achieved over the past 5 years.
Minister Tran Van Son said that emulation and reward work in the coming time needs to continue to be innovated, closely following reality, taking effectiveness as a measure, ensuring democracy, objectivity, "right people, right work", educational and setting a high example.
The Minister also suggested that all cadres, party members, armed forces, businesses and people of Dien Bien ethnic groups continue to promote the heroic historical tradition, the spirit of solidarity, the aspiration to rise up, compete to build a beautiful and civilized province.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister presented the Emulation Flag to the Party Committee, government and people of Dien Bien province and 2 other groups; presented Certificates of Merit to 3 households and 7 individuals.
The President awarded the First Class Labor Medal to Mr. Mua A Thi (Head of Hang Pu Xi village, Xa Dung commune) and the Third Class Labor Medal to 2 individuals.
In addition, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dien Bien province also awarded Emulation Flags to 8 collectives; awarded Certificates of Merit to many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
