On January 1st, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Xuan commune (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had started construction of 5 "Great Solidarity" houses right on the occasion of the New Year, welcoming the new year 2026.
The "Great Unity" house construction program is a key task in the local social security work, contributing to the implementation of the sustainable poverty reduction goal.
The households supported this time are all local ethnic minority households, whose lives are still difficult, their houses are damaged, degraded and do not have conditions to repair or build new ones. Housing support helps households soon stabilize their lives and feel secure in labor and production.
The construction funding is sponsored by Lam Dong Lottery Company (2025, phase 2) through the "For the Poor" Fund of Lam Dong province. This is an activity with profound humanistic meaning, expressing the spirit of mutual affection and community responsibility.
Each house is supported with 60 million VND, built according to the standards of level 4 houses, ensuring "three solid" criteria: Solid foundation, solid walls, solid roof. The project is expected to be completed and handed over before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026, helping households have stable accommodation and celebrate Tet happily.
Ms. H-Breo, a M'Nong ethnic person in Bu Pah hamlet (Truong Xuan commune) said that the house her family is living in is dilapidated while in difficult circumstances, she cannot build a new one herself.
Being supported in building a house, I am very happy. Having a new, solid house to live in is the only way to feel secure in working. Thank you to the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune, the government and the organizations for caring and helping my family," she emotionally shared.
