On the afternoon of December 24 and morning of December 25, authorized by the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee, Lam Dong Provincial Police held the inauguration ceremony and handed over 3 houses to people in the flooded areas of D'ran commune after 3 weeks of rapid construction under the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The households whose houses were handed over include the family of Mr. Tran The Tuy, Mr. Ta Minh Diep and Mr. Nguyen Van Nam, all residing in D'ran commune (Lam Dong province).

At the inauguration ceremony, functional agencies, authorities and local organizations presented many gifts and practical items, and congratulated the families who soon "resettled" after the fierce flood to continue to "work", stabilize their lives and increase livestock production, and contribute to the overall development of the locality.
During the recent historic flood, all three families were swept away by floodwaters, their houses, properties and crops. Faced with such a difficult situation, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Public Security have promptly provided funding, together with local authorities, to help people rebuild shelters.
The provincial armed forces have mobilized officers and soldiers to participate in the construction, speed up the construction progress and closely monitor the quality of the project, ensuring completion on demand.

moved at the handover ceremony, Mr. Ta Minh Diep shared: "During the disaster caused by floods, when my family did not know where to start, even without a place to live, the authorities promptly encouraged and supported the construction of new houses and the cleaning of the garden. Up to now, everything is stable, my family no longer worries about food, accommodation and is ready to restore production".
During the implementation of housing construction under the "Quang Trung Campaign", the leaders of Lam Dong Provincial Police regularly inspected the scene, urged and directed the forces to speed up the progress, ensure quality, and exceed the requirements.

According to statistics, during the recent flood, the whole Lam Dong province had 23 houses that collapsed, were completely washed away and had to be rebuilt. Implementing the Quang Trung Campaign, by December 15, all 23 houses had started construction.
In addition, the whole province also had 750 houses damaged to many degrees. Recently, the military, police, businesses, philanthropists and local people have joined hands to repair and repair 668 slightly damaged houses, helping households soon stabilize their lives.

To effectively implement the Quang Trung Campaign, Lam Dong province continues to focus on supporting the construction of new houses for households that have collapsed or been completely damaged by natural disasters, with a support level of 120 million VND/house, striving to complete before January 31, 2026.
At the same time, the province urgently supported the repair of houses for damaged households, with a support level of 20 to 40 million VND/house, to be completed before December 25, helping people soon stabilize their lives and celebrate the Lunar New Year 2026 in warm and happy conditions.
