On August 1, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hoa Trach commune (Quang Tri province) said that it had just coordinated with socio-political organizations to organize a delegation to visit typical economic models in the area. The trip aims to promote the emulation movement for economic development, transforming crop and livestock structure, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.
The delegation included representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Farmers' Association, Women's Union (VFF), Youth Union, Veterans' Association, village officials and outstanding members.
In Di Loc village, the delegation came to Mr. Nguyen Duc Tinh's aquaculture model, combining shrimp, crab, perch, and perch on an area of over 2 hectares, bringing in an income of over 200 million VND/year and creating stable jobs for people.
The delegation also visited Thai Phuong Garment Factory, which creates jobs for nearly 50 workers, mainly women, with an income of more than 7 million VND/person/month. This is a typical model of rural employment and gender equality.
In Son Tung village, the synthetic farm model of Mr. Nguyen Van Le combines growing fruit trees and raising livestock in the direction of biosafety. Meanwhile, Ms. Pham Thi Thuy Trang's high-tech agricultural model with growing melons in the soil, Thai jackfruit and raising chickens is gradually expanding, and is likely to be replicated in the coming time.
Tour activities help union organizations learn, exchange experiences, and gradually encourage members to boldly innovate production thinking and effectively exploit local potential.
This is a practical activity in response to the emulation movement "Solidarity, creativity, economic development, building advanced new rural areas", contributing to promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Hoa Trach.
