Cho Quan Ward has just organized the "Cho Quan meaningful - For the community" festival to connect kind hearts, spread the spirit of mutual affection, promote the strength of great national unity and effectively implement social security programs.
According to Mr. Le Hung Dung - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Cho Quan ward, the festival is also associated with a series of activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City officially honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh, responding to the movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam" and the program of planting 1 million trees in the period 2025 - 2030.
Within the framework of the program, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cho Quan ward received more than 1 billion VND contributed by agencies, units, businesses, Chinese people's associations, religious establishments and people in 25 neighborhoods, supporting the Ward Fund for the Poor. At the same time, the unit awarded 50 regular sponsorships for the 2nd phase of 2026 and 4 means of livelihood to households in difficult circumstances.
In Binh Thanh ward, the program "Wings of the Future - Joining Hands for the Community in 2026" was organized in Quarter 41 with many practical activities. The organizing committee presented 10 gifts to poor households and 70 gifts to students with excellent academic achievements, with a total care cost of 25 million VND, contributing to adding motivation for people and students to rise up in life.
Towards the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City officially honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations at all levels in the city have registered to implement 331 projects and practical activities. Among them, there are 105 projects in the field of culture - society and ensuring social security.
331 projects not only celebrate the city's historical milestone but also express the spirit of "unity - responsibility - action" of the Front system. Each project aims to improve the quality of material and spiritual life of the people, contributing to building a civilized, modern, meaningful, green, clean, and beautiful Ho Chi Minh City.
