Reviving the playground from the strength of great unity
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Binh Thanh Ward has just coordinated with the Ward People's Committee, Quarter 9 and member organizations to implement the project "Great Unity Playground". The project aims to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the City of Saigon - Gia Dinh officially honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026) and respond to the emulation movement "All people join hands to protect the environment, for a green - clean - beautiful Vietnam".
From a degraded amusement park, with many items damaged and abandoned for a long time, the project has been comprehensively renovated. This is a project of the people's hearts, crystallizing the strength of the great national unity bloc.
A large number of officials, union members, association members and people participated in general environmental sanitation, cleared bushes, collected more than 500 kg of waste, and restored ventilation to the area. At the same time, newly planted 1,000 trees and flowers of all kinds, installed play equipment for children, repaired old items, arranged stone benches, painted propaganda murals, and completed the landscape and community living space.
With a total socialization budget of 167 million VND, the project is a clear proof of the effectiveness of mobilizing people's strength, promoting social resources, and spreading the spirit of "Each person contributes one hand, together building the community". At the same time, it affirms the role of the Fatherland Front in gathering, uniting people and connecting resources to serve the community.
331 projects to celebrate 50 years of Ho Chi Minh City named after Uncle Ho
Towards the 50th anniversary of the City of Saigon - Gia Dinh officially honored to be named after President Ho Chi Minh (July 2, 1976 - July 2, 2026), the Vietnam Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations at all levels in the city have registered to implement 331 projects and practical activities contributing to building a civilized, modern, and meaningful Ho Chi Minh City.
Out of a total of 331 projects, there are 109 projects in the field of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; 105 projects on culture - society, ensuring social security; 117 propaganda projects, promoting democracy, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc accompanying the development of the city and participating in protecting national security.
With a total converted value of trillions of VND, the projects contribute to improving the material and spiritual quality of life of the people. At the same time, it awakens the spirit of solidarity, joining hands, and consensus of all classes of people to jointly build a civilized, modern, meaningful, green, clean, and beautiful city.
Many typical projects have been and are being implemented such as the digital map implementing the program of planting 1 million trees for the term 2025 - 2030; the "Spring Home" program to build and repair 174 Great Solidarity houses; digital social security system; Thanh An commune clean water project and many large-scale programs of socio-political organizations such as 50,000 social housing units for workers and laborers, health care for 1 million workers, youth parks, programs to care for women, farmers, veterans and many other meaningful social security activities.
In particular, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just launched the Digital Front platform. This is a platform integrating many functions such as a paperless meeting room, digital social security application, application for managing the system of targets for programs, movements, campaigns, monitoring KPI implementation, and the electronic information page of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
This platform contributes to innovating operating methods, improving the quality of gathering and mobilizing people from all walks of life, and specifically measuring the results of Front work implementation.
