On August 22, information from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Nghe An province said that the VFF Committee of Vinh Hung ward has just launched 26 Volunteer Groups in 26 residential blocks in the area.
Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and local representatives.
After launching, the Digital Volunteer Groups will directly accompany, guide, and support people to access and use digital platforms and utilities.
Bringing digital volunteer forces to each residential area aims to spread digital transformation from the grassroots level, helping people gradually get acquainted with digital platforms and utilities in daily life.
To date, the electronic operations management system of the Nghe An Front has been maintained uniformly from the province to the grassroots level, the rate of electronic document processing has reached about 85%. Digital databases have been built in 130/130 communes, wards and 3,797 residential areas throughout the province.
Platforms such as the Nghe An Front Fanpage, Front Handbook, Digital Front Portal and online feedback receiving system are being used to serve propaganda, grasp people's situation, supervise and social criticism.
The Provincial Fatherland Front system also strengthens the use of video, infographics, livestreams, fan pages and community Zalo groups in propaganda work. The Provincial Fatherland Front determines to continue to improve the effectiveness of the Electronic Information Page, Fanpage, Zalo OA, Mini App of the Nghe An Front and artificial intelligence applications in propaganda activities.
The Nghe An Fatherland Front continues to operate the Mini App "Nghe An Digital Front", and at the same time deploys the "Digital Education for All" movement, supporting people to get acquainted with online public services and access artificial intelligence applications.
The establishment of 26 Digital Volunteer Groups in Vinh Hung ward is expected to continue to bring these activities closer to the people, spreading digital skills to each residential area.
