Continuing the working session on the afternoon of March 6, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and candidates for National Assembly deputies of the XVI term, 2026-2031, attended the voter contact conference at polling station No. 5 Phu Tho in Luong Son commune.
At the Conference, many voters expressed their interest and expectations for the candidates, and at the same time wished that the delegates, after being elected, would fulfill their commitments, listen to the people's opinions and "worry about the people's worries".
Voter Hoang Thi Hanh, Luong Son commune, said that she agreed and highly appreciated the action programs of the candidates.
According to Ms. Hanh, the programs not only show determination to act but also show the spirit of sharing the difficulties of the people.
I expect the new National Assembly deputies when elected to bring the voice of voters to the National Assembly and competent agencies. The important thing is to turn the promises in the action program into specific actions, worry about people's concerns, and well supervise public services," Ms. Hanh said.
This voter also hopes that delegates will dare to criticize policies and boldly fight against inadequacies.
According to her, National Assembly deputies need to establish modern voter contact channels, use the digital environment to listen to people's opinions more. "Deputies must speak for the people to understand, and act for the people to believe," Ms. Hanh emphasized.
Sharing the same view, voter Nguyen Thi Thanh, Lac Thuy commune, said that after listening to the biographies and action programs of the candidates, she found that the candidates all had qualifications and practical experience.
Ms. Thanh hopes that candidates after being elected will fulfill their commitments, regularly listen to people's opinions and pay more attention to people's lives, especially in rural areas.
According to her, many practical issues such as improving the transportation and irrigation systems, improving the quality of education, health, environmental protection and ensuring social security need to be concerned by delegates in the coming time.
In addition, environmental issues such as waste, wastewater, and rural landscape also need to be addressed to ensure a sustainable living environment for people.
On behalf of the National Assembly delegate candidates, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai thanked the voters for their heartfelt and responsible opinions.
She said that the candidates have fully recorded the recommendations and proposals of voters and affirmed that if they are trusted by voters to be elected as National Assembly deputies, they will continue to maintain close contact with the people, listen to and truthfully reflect voters' opinions to the National Assembly and functional agencies.
According to Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, in the coming time, voter contact forms will continue to be expanded, including strengthening online channels and applying the digital environment to create favorable conditions for people to participate in contributing opinions.
In addition, delegates will pay attention to advising, building and perfecting the legal system, contributing to removing difficulties for socio-economic development, especially in areas such as transportation, social security, and jobs for people.
At the same time, policies related to the contingent of officials, including officials of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, will also be studied and improved in the coming time.
