The meeting was chaired by the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in coordination with the Central Party Office and relevant agencies, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Attending and chairing the meeting were: Politburo member and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Luong Cuong; Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Party Committee, Central organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang.

Member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central organizations, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Party Secretary, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang attended the meeting.
The meeting was attended by 300 delegates from 34 provinces and cities across the country. Including: 19 comrades who were former Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Chairmen and First Secretaries of 5 socio-political organizations; Chairmen of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council.
32 delegates are officials of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, including 14 comrades who are Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities;
The delegates represented the working class, farmers, youth, women, veterans, civil servants, intellectuals, the elderly, businessmen, and dignitaries of 16 religions; representatives of the overseas Vietnamese community and representatives of 41/53 ethnic minorities nationwide.
Of which, delegates with religious qualifications account for 34%; delegates with ethnic minorities account for 34%
Delegates representing all classes of people, including: Delegates who are businessmen and enterprises working in large economic groups, with outstanding achievements in social security work, community support accounting for 9.67%; delegates of Vietnamese people abroad accounting for 1.67%; delegates who are civil servants and intellectuals accounting for 10%; delegates with a combined structure of grassroots Front cadres, workers, farmers, youth, women, veterans, the elderly, and small traders (combined structure) are 77 delegates.
Delegate Ngo Thanh Hoa, born in 1930 (95 years old), is the oldest member of the Chinese ethnic group. Currently, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Viet Hoa Bank, Ho Chi Minh City, has been awarded the First Class Determination Medal and the Second Class Anti-American Resistance Medal.
Delegate Ho Phuong Linh, born in 2008 and a 12th grade student at Ha Tinh High School for the Gifted, is the youngest delegate. I have many excellent achievements in my studies.

The meeting is an opportunity for each delegate to review the glorious history of the nation and also an opportunity to express their deep gratitude for the dedication and great contributions of all classes in society, of the Vietnamese soldiers, ethnic groups, religions and the Vietnamese community at home and abroad to the cause of fighting for national independence, peace, national unity, as well as in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam.
This is also an opportunity for leaders of the Party, State, and Fatherland Front of Vietnam to listen to the dedicated and responsible opinions of human beings, intellectuals, dignitaries, religions, and overseas Vietnamese; and at the same time share some information about the domestic and international situation in recent times. Thereby, arousing pride, patriotism, and solidarity; creating a spreading and inspiring effect, contributing to creating a new momentum and new motivation in the entire Party, people, and army, joining hands to overcome difficulties and challenges, bringing the country into an era of strong, prosperous, civilized, and happy development.
