On the afternoon of August 19, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Hanoi City, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong chaired a conference to announce the decision of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on personnel work.
According to Decision No. 9765-QD/TU dated August 19, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee decided to transfer and assign comrade Bui Huyen Mai (born in 1975) to cease participating in the Party Executive Committee, cease holding the position of Secretary of the Thanh Xuan Ward Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term; to work at the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, introducing him to be elected to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City for the 2024-2029 term.
Handing over the decision to comrade Bui Huyen Mai and giving a speech assigning tasks, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong said that this is a step to prepare for personnel work towards the 18th City Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Comrade Nguyen Van Phong assessed that Comrade Bui Huyen Mai is a cadre who has been trained in many working positions and all of them meet the requirements of the task well.
Comrade Nguyen Van Phong congratulated Comrade Bui Huyen Mai on being trusted by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to assign a new task; congratulated the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City for being supplemented with experienced cadres, being a member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.
According to Comrade Nguyen Van Phong, in the coming time, Hanoi city must carry out many important tasks that require the drastic participation of the entire political system and people, including the extremely important role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels such as participating in organizing anniversaries, parading, and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), organizing the 18th City Party Congress, serving the organization of the 14th National Party Congress... The Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee suggested that Comrade Bui Huyen Mai quickly approach the work, helping the Chairman to perform well the assigned duties and tasks.
Comrade Nguyen Van Phong hopes that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi will continue to be a pioneer and exemplary unit in implementing the tasks assigned by the city. In particular, in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2, with the role of gathering and promoting the strength of great solidarity of all classes of people, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city will mobilize and propagate to create a widespread movement so that every person in Hanoi is truly a hospitable " homeowner", not only elegant and civilized but also humane and affectionate to welcome compatriots and international friends to the capital on this occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony to accept the assignment, comrade Bui Huyen Mai promised to immediately start performing the task, strive to complete the task well; through work, spread the spirit and positive attitude of the cadres and party members of the capital towards the people, and perform well the assigned tasks.
