On September 24, the Provincial Youth Union - Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Council coordinated with the Do Luong Commune Youth Union to organize a Mid-Autumn Festival program for children at the Provincial Social Work Center.
The program was attended by Provincial Youth Union Secretary and Chairwoman of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Council Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy.
At the program, the Provincial Youth Union and the Do Luong Commune Youth Union presented 50 boxes of milk worth more than 35 million VND, 50 gifts worth 2.5 million VND, organized free haircuts and prepared 52 hot meals for the children.
Although small, the gifts contribute to bringing children a complete Mid-Autumn Festival filled with love.
After activities at the Social Work Center, in the afternoon of the same day, the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Youth Union Council continued to bring the joy of the Mid-Autumn Festival to children at the Nghe An Center for the care of children with disabilities (Vinh Phu Ward) and Thach Giam 1 Primary School (Tuong Duong Commune). In the evening, the "Full Moon Festival Night" program will be held at Tam Hop Ethnic Minority Secondary School, Tam Thai commune.
Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Secretary Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy shared: Mid-Autumn Festival is the Lunar New Year for children, an occasion for all children to play and receive love. For children in difficult circumstances, orphans, and children with disabilities, that joy becomes even more special.
Through the journey "Moon Package for Children", Nghe An youth hope to spread the attention and cooperation of the community, so that they have more determination, confidence and enjoy a full and warm moon season".
