On the afternoon of June 27, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFFC) of Vung Tau ward (HCMC) coordinated with ward socio-political organizations, religious units, and philanthropists to organize the program "Culinary Festival - Vietnamese Family Delicacies". This is an activity on the occasion of Vietnamese Family Day June 28; celebrating the 50th anniversary of Saigon - Gia Dinh City officially named after President Ho Chi Minh.
In the program, more than 20 food stalls from agencies, units, unions, armed forces, religious establishments... in the area brought many rich, familiar dishes, imbued with the flavor of Vietnamese family, creating a lively, cozy and cohesive festival atmosphere.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented social security support to people in difficult circumstances in Vung Tau ward with a total value of more than 138 million VND. At the same time, some units also presented support and accompanied the VFF of Vung Tau ward in the coming time, including support for health insurance cards with a total value of more than 379 million VND; a house of gratitude worth 80 million VND; repairing 1 house for women union members in difficult circumstances...

According to the VFF Committee of Vung Tau ward, the program not only organizes culinary exchange activities but also aims to raise social security funds. All mobilized funds from the program will be summarized, reviewed and used by the Organizing Committee to care for and support difficult circumstances, vulnerable people, children in special circumstances and difficult households in the ward, ensuring the right purpose, publicity, transparency, and practicality.
Through the program, it also contributes to honoring the values of Vietnamese families, building community cultural life, and promoting the spirit of great solidarity, mutual affection, and jointly taking care of social security in Vung Tau ward.
