Lang Son Front focuses on taking care of people's lives
Immediately after the new system came into operation, the Front and socio-political organizations at all levels quickly perfected the apparatus, built working regulations, and promoted the proactive and creative role in performing tasks. Activities are oriented towards the grassroots, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, improving the effectiveness of coordination in building the government and developing the socio-economy.
In implementing the two-level government model, many self-management initiatives of the Front have been maintained and replicated. The whole province currently has 586 self-management models of security and order with 1,794 members, operating effectively in residential areas such as "Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Joint Stock Company", "Lighting up the Village Roads", "Saving and borrowing capital", "Joi Xuan Xuan"...
At the same time, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee launched the Zalo OA model "Xu Lang Digital Front", combining Zalo mini app to promote, receive feedback, and interact with people.This is a strong shift in mass mobilization work in the digital transformation period, helping the Front's information reach the people more quickly and vividly.
The "Listening to People's opinions to participate in building the Party and government" letter boxes are placed at the village cultural house, residential area and the "one-stop" department of the People's Committee of the commune and ward, becoming a two-way feedback channel, contributing to implementing democracy at the grassroots level.
The Front at all levels coordinates with member organizations to promote patriotic emulation movements and practical campaigns such as "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", "Women in the new era of Quang Lang", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"...
Along with that, the Front mobilized the construction of social funds such as the "For the Poor" Fund, "Union Shelter", "Farmers' Support" ... contributing to caring for social security, arousing the spirit of solidarity and self-reliance of the people. With outstanding results, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister; the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded 2 Certificates of Merit, along with many individuals.
In 2025, storms No. 10 and 11 caused heavy damage in the province. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has proactively launched a campaign to support and establish a Steering Group via Zalo to grasp the situation and guide facilities to receive and distribute relief goods.
As of October 30, 2025, the Provincial Relief Fund received VND61.2 billion; of which the Central Relief Committee received VND10.5 billion (and has provided an additional VND20 billion), the provinces received VND24.4 billion, and organizations and individuals inside and outside the province received VND26.2 billion. This amount was allocated in three installments, supporting more than 58,600 gifts, helping people stabilize their lives after the storm.
Towards the Front Congress - affirming its core role
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province - said: "Implementing the Central's policy on streamlining and efficiency the apparatus, the Provincial Fatherland Front has proactively reviewed and proposed the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue Project No. 20-DA/TU on streamlining the Vietnam Fatherland Front agencies, socio-political organizations and mass organizations. On that basis, the Provincial Fatherland Front reorganizes the apparatus of 9 professional departments and 1 public service unit, establishing an agency Party Committee with 14 Party cells".
Up to now, the apparatus has operated stably and smoothly; member organizations have maintained effective work, without interruption in the transfer process. The organization of the Front and mass organizations congresses has been implemented on schedule, an important occasion to improve personnel, strengthen organization, and improve the quality of activities.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tung emphasized that the upcoming Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of Lang Son province for the 2026 - 2031 term will be an extensive political activity, and at the same time, celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025). The Congress documents will clearly identify key goals and tasks, breakthroughs, ensuring consistency and high feasibility.
The Provincial Fatherland Front also recommended that the Central Government complete the mechanism and policies on job positions and regimes for Front cadres at the grassroots level, especially in border and mountainous areas, where more attention should be paid to human resources, equipment and working conditions.
With the spirit of solidarity, unity and determination to innovate, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lang Son province continues to affirm its core role in the great national unity bloc, accompanying the government and people to build Lang Son province to develop sustainably, maintain border security and stabilize the lives of ethnic minorities.
