On July 13, Nguyen Chanh Duc (18 years old, student at Binh Son High School, residential in Hamlet 7, Long Thanh Commune) and his relatives went to the headquarters of Long Thanh Commune Police to hand over 37 million VND in cash and a phone case that they had picked up.
Previously, on the evening of July 12, while traveling on Provincial Road 769, through Hamlet 1, Long Thanh Commune, Duc discovered a large deposit of money and a phone case that had fallen on the roadside. After that, Duc and his relatives went to report and hand it over to the commune police to find the person who dropped it and return it.
After receiving the information, Long Thanh Commune Police quickly verified.
Through screening, it was determined that the person who dropped the property was Ms. P.T.G (residing in Hamlet 5, An Phuoc Commune).
Ms. G. said that she accidentally dropped the above amount of money while passing through Provincial Road 769 on the evening of July 12.
After comparing the characteristics and proving the ownership, Ms. G received her entire property back.
