On March 2nd and 3rd, the Provincial Border Guard Command and Border Guard Stations coordinated with Party committees and authorities of border communes to organize the 2026 National Border Guard Day.
The activity is organized on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Border Guard and the 37th anniversary of the All People's Border Defense Day.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command and stations presented hundreds of national flags and photos of Uncle Ho to border areas; presented gifts to policy families, poor households and students overcoming difficulties. These gifts contributed to encouraging and motivating the spirit of people in border areas.

In Muong Leo commune, from early morning, officers and soldiers of Muong Leo Border Guard Station and people from villages participated in the festival in a vibrant atmosphere with many cultural and artistic activities, folk dances, and folk games, tightening the military-civilian solidarity.
Senior Lieutenant Colonel Hoang Van Giap, Political Commissar of Muong Leo Border Guard Station, said that the festival is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between the army and people, raise awareness, and promote the role of the people in protecting sovereignty and maintaining border lines and markers.


According to Senior Lieutenant Colonel Dao Manh Tuong, Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the festival is held annually, becoming a widespread political activity, spreading the movement of the whole people to protect sovereignty, maintain security, stability and develop the border region.

The 2026 National Border Guard Day closed in a joyful atmosphere, full of military-civilian solidarity with many cultural, folk dance, and sports activities.
