The project started in April 2025, with a total investment of nearly 100 billion VND, and was completed after more than 6 months of continuous construction.
The factory has an area of 5,000m2, designed capacity of 20 tons of raw materials/day and night; expected to consume more than 8,000 tons of fresh agricultural products per year, with revenue reaching about 300 billion VND/year.

The project is equipped with two technology lines including air frying and sublime drying - serving the processing of crispy dried, cold-dried vegetables and fruits, supplying the domestic market and aiming to export to markets such as Europe, Japan and Korea.
The factory came into operation, creating direct jobs for more than 150 workers at the factory and indirectly for thousands of households in the raw material area growing fruit trees. This is an important step in enhancing the value of fruit trees - the province's main crop with an annual fruit output of more than 500,000 tons.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cong - Vice Chairman of Son La Provincial People's Committee - requested the company to continue to operate effectively, strictly comply with environmental regulations, ensure the rights of workers and households supplying raw materials, contributing to promoting the development of the province's agricultural processing industry.
The VFI Son La Food Processing Factory Project hopes to contribute to expanding processing capacity, increasing the value of agricultural products and promoting local industrial development.
