On January 22, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Bac commune (Lam Dong province) organized the payment of support to people affected by natural disasters and floods in the area, phase 2.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the total source of support in phase 2 for communes and wards supported is nearly 38.7 billion VND, deducted from the Provincial Relief Fund.

This funding is to support people affected by flooding and damage in the natural disaster that occurred in early December 2025, in which many localities in the downstream area of Song Quao lake are heavily affected.
Regarding the support level, households that have to relocate due to flooding and landslides are supported with 5 million VND/household. Cases where houses are completely collapsed or swept away by floodwaters are supported to build new houses with a level of 80 million VND/apartment.
In addition, students from elementary to high school who are studying at public and private schools, continuing education centers, vocational education centers are supported with 500,000 VND/student, contributing to sharing difficulties and stabilizing their studies after natural disasters.
Support funds are transferred to the Relief Fund accounts of communes and wards according to the allocated list. Immediately after receiving the funds, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ham Thuan Bac commune deployed payment to the people, ensuring the right subjects, at the right level, publicly and promptly.

In Ham Thuan Bac commune, there are 1,165 households and cases supported according to the above 3 levels, with a total cost of more than 4.3 billion VND.
Payment is made directly to the people, helping households soon have conditions to overcome damage, stabilize life and activities.
According to the province's second phase of funding allocation list, Ham Thang ward is the locality that received the most support. This is considered the "flood center" in the serious flood that occurred on December 4, 2025. The entire ward has 5,459 cases supported, with a total budget of more than 23.3 billion VND.
The second phase of support payment continues to demonstrate the role of the Fatherland Front system in mobilizing and allocating relief resources, contributing to helping people in flood-affected areas gradually overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
