On September 17, Quang Tri Ward Police, Quang Tri province confirmed that the unit had just supported verification and clarification of a case where people received nearly 1 billion VND due to another person's mistaken transfer.

Previously, at about 11:16 am on September 16, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huyen (residing in Quarter 3, Quang Tri Ward) discovered that her bank account had received the amount of 999,999,997 VND.

By the morning of September 17th, Ms. Huyen had completed the transaction to return the entire amount of nearly 1 billion VND to the mistaken transferee.

After receiving the money back, Ms. Tran Thi Dung expressed her joy and emotion and sent thanks to Ms. Le Thi Thu Huyen and Quang Tri Ward Police for supporting verification, helping her quickly receive back the mistakenly transferred money.
