On September 17, a landslide occurred at the house of Mr. X.V. D. (born 1975, residing in Tu Ly village, Da Bac commune) causing 3 people to be buried. Functional forces have found the victims, confirming that they were all dead.
According to initial information, a large volume of soil and rocks from the hill area behind collapsed into the house. The incident collapsed the walls of 2 bedrooms and buried 3 people.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the Fire and Rescue Police Department of the Provincial Police, Da Bac Commune Police mobilized forces and vehicles to approach the buried area.
The search work was deployed in the context of the scene having a lot of soil and rocks, slippery terrain and potential risk of continued landslides. Officers and soldiers focused on searching for victims, while ensuring safety for participating forces.
After the process of deployment, functional forces found 3 victims. The victims were identified as Mr. X.V. D. (born 1975); Ms. D. T. L. (born 1979), Mr. D.'s wife; Ms. X.T. C. (born 1949), Mr. D.'s aunt. All 3 people died.
Currently, functional forces continue to protect and handle the scene and overcome the consequences. Support for the victim's family is being implemented. Measures to prevent the risk of continued landslides are also being implemented.
