2 key programs during the term
On the afternoon of November 3, in Hanoi, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) - chaired a meeting to give opinions on the content of the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025-2030.
Mr. Vu Huy Hoang - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province - presented a report on the preparation work to organize the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030. The congress is scheduled to take place on November 11-12, 2025.
Regarding the goals and targets for the coming term, Mr. Vu Huy Hoang said that the congress plans to set out 15 target groups, including 11 target groups according to the Central's orientation, 4 specific and supplemented target groups in accordance with the local situation.
At the same time, 3 projects were proposed: Project to promote the strength of great national unity, improve the quality of supervision, social criticism, participate in building a strong Party and government for the 2025-2030 term; Project to innovate and improve the effectiveness of propaganda work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2025-2030 period; Project to support livelihoods for 1,000 poor and near-poor households, striving to escape poverty sustainably.
Along with that are 2 key programs during the term: Program to train and improve the quality of Vietnam Fatherland Front cadres at all levels for the period 2025-2030; Program of the Fatherland Front participating in environmental protection, building a Green - Green - Clean - Beautiful residential area.
Focus on better assessing the content of restructuring and streamlining the apparatus
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairwoman - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha highly appreciated the attention of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Standing Committee in leadership and direction; the coordination of the People's Committee, the Provincial People's Council, departments and branches of the province in coordinating the organization of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels towards organizing the 1st Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress of Thai Nguyen province, term 2025 - 2030.
Welcoming the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen province for carefully preparing documents to serve the Congress, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that, from the discussion opinions of delegates attending the meeting, the Provincial Front should absorb and improve them to suit local realities.
In particular, it is necessary to focus on better assessing the content of the arrangement and streamlining of the apparatus when implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW; at the same time, it is necessary to emphasize the advantages and disadvantages in the implementation, coordination and guidance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at the provincial and commune levels with socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State after the merger, to reorganize the apparatus according to the model of local government at two levels; Supplement a list of typical results of member organizations to prove the content of the Political Report.
Vice Chairwoman - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha also suggested that the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee should study the content of the draft documents and implementation instructions of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, especially the Plan to implement the Speech of General Secretary To Lam at the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Central organizations that the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just issued, thereby specifying the content of the action program of the Provincial Front such as: each year will announce the provincial-level social trust index, the provincial-level social security index, organize the "people's listen month", the people's forum, each locality needs to organize a model of social dialogue and a model of social security, related to indigenous issues.
Along with that, it is necessary to study and supplement the content of the action program of the term to encourage people to participate in developing science and technology, innovation, building a digital society; promote digital transformation in the Fatherland Front system through the "Digital Front Portal" to 24/7 receive recommendations from the People.
Appreciating the content of the 3 projects that the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province will implement, Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that from the content of the Project, in the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province will promote the strength of national solidarity, and better care for social security in the area.
Vice President - General Secretary Nguyen Thi Thu Ha suggested that the personnel submitted to the Congress must ensure the structure, components, and classes, especially the selection of outstanding individuals in fields such as: The field of science and innovation, intellectual humanities... to make more contributions to the work of the Front in the new term.
