On October 14, Lang Ho Border Guard Station (Kim Ngan Commune, Quang Tri Province) said that it had just received and returned more than 10 million VND to people who dropped it, picked up by a construction worker and voluntarily handed it over.
Previously, at around 9:00 a.m. the same day, Mr. Nguyen Huu Sam (born in 1968), an employee of the Central General Construction Consulting Company, while building a house for people, picked up a bag of more than 10 million VND in Trung Doan village, Kim Ngan commune.
After searching around but no one came to claim it, Mr. Sam proactively brought the entire amount to the Military-Civilian Medical Station of Lang Ho Border Guard Station to report and ask to find the owner.
At 9:30 a.m. the same day, Ms. Ho Thi Tuyet (born in 1979, residing in Trung Doan village, Kim Ngan commune) came to receive the money back in joy and emotion. Ms. Tuyet said this was the amount of money she had saved.
The representative of Lang Ho Border Guard Station thanked and praised the honest and affectionate actions of Mr. Nguyen Huu Sam.
