On September 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Truong Khanh commune held the 1st Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune for the 2025-2030 term.
During the past term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Khanh commune has successfully fulfilled its assigned functions and tasks, clearly affirming its role as a center of solidarity and the political core of the people.

The Front has launched and organized many exciting and practical patriotic emulation movements, closely associated with the national target program on new rural construction. Thereby, changing the face of rural areas, improving people's lives. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune has organized over 295 propaganda sessions, attracting more than 10,400 cadres, union members, association members and people to participate.
The whole commune currently has 6,064/6111 households recognized as cultural families, accounting for 99.23% of the target; 16/16 hamlets meet the cultural hamlet standards.
The work of mobilizing and caring for the poor, social security; relief for people affected by natural disasters, fires, serious incidents... has been focused on. Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the commune has coordinated to organize many activities to propagate and mobilize to care for the poor and policy families during Tet with over 683 gifts, worth more than 312.2 million VND, presented; supported the construction and repair of 186 new houses with a total amount of nearly 7.1 billion VND; presented 4,324 Tet gifts, with an amount of nearly 2.2 billion VND....
Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation - acknowledged and commended the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Khanh commune for promoting its role, functions, and tasks and achieving many positive results.

In the new term, to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, Ms. Le Thi Suong Mai suggested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, closely following the grassroots, avoiding forms; Effectively implement movements and campaigns, especially building new rural areas to improve and sustainably reduce poverty; Building a strong team of Front cadres with capacity and courage, meeting the requirements of the new situation....
The Congress agreed on 10 specific targets and 2 breakthroughs for the new term; consulted to elect the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Khanh commune, term 2025 - 2030 including 60 members.
At the first meeting, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune jointly elected the Standing Committee and the positions of chairman and vice chairman. Mr. Nguyen Hoa Hop holds the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Khanh commune, term 2025 - 2030.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City directly awarded 10 scholarships to students who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies in the commune, each worth 1 million VND.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Truong Khanh commune also received support for 2 Great Unity houses, worth 100 million VND from benefactors.
