At the 5th National Congress of the Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers for the term 2026 - 2031 held on the morning of August 26, delegates elected 60 personnel to the Executive Committee of the new term of the Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers.
The Executive Committee met to elect 12 personnel in the new Standing Committee, elect the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Association.
Chairman of the Vth Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers is Mr. Than Duc Nam.
Mr. Than Duc Nam (born in 1958) is a member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, a member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, and central mass organizations.
Before being elected as Chairman of the Vth Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers, Mr. Nam held the position of Vice Chairman of the IVth Vietnam Association of Former Youth Volunteers.
Mr. Nam was awarded the title of Labor Hero in the renovation period in 2011.
The Vice Chairman of the Vth Former Youth Volunteer Association is Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh (born in 1965), Chairman of the Hanoi City Former Youth Volunteer Association.
