The conference announced the Decisions to establish the Farmers' Association of Hai Phong city; establish the Farmers' Association and the work of the Association's staff in communes, wards and special zones.
Accordingly, on June 28, 2025, the Central Standing Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union issued Decision No. 1785/QD-HDND appointing 29 comrades to join the Executive Committee; 10 comrades to join the Standing Committee of the City Farmers' Union for the 2023-2028 term. At the same time, Mr. Trinh Van Thien was appointed as Chairman of the Hai Phong City Farmers' Association; Mr. Nguyen Hong Hung and Dao Xuan Anh were appointed as Vice Chairmen of the City Farmers' Association for the 2023-2028 term.

Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuan - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) - the city emphasized that the establishment of the Hai Phong City Farmers' Association on the basis of merging the previous Hai Phong and Hai Duong Farmers' Association organizations, along with the establishment of Farmers' Associations in 107 communes, wards and special zones, is an event of important political significance. This is a necessary step to ensure consistency and unity in the two-level local government organization model, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Association's activities in the new situation.
In the coming time, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested that all levels of the City Farmers' Union focus on stably organizing, perfecting operating regulations, proactively developing a work program until the end of 2025; promote propaganda work, create unity and consensus among farmers' staff and members; pay attention to building and consolidating a strong and comprehensive Association organization. Along with that, carefully prepare the contents to serve the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress, Farmers' Association Congress and actively participate in the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term. Associations at all levels promote digital transformation in Association activities; effectively apply information technology in management, operation and innovation of approaches to members.
