On the evening of February 16 (New Year's Eve), a working delegation led by Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province and Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council visited, wished Tet, encouraged and presented gifts to union members, workers, and laborers on duty in 4 wards: My Tra, My Ngai, Dao Thanh, Trung An.

Also participating in the delegation were Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation and representatives of leaders of professional departments of the Provincial Labor Federation.
In My Tra and My Ngai wards, Mr. Phan Van Thang and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan presented 390 gifts to union members, workers, and laborers working at Dong Thap Water Supply and Environment Joint Stock Company; presented 33 gifts to doctors and nurses on emergency duty at Dong Thap General Hospital.

Meanwhile, in Dao Thanh and Trung An wards, Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong and Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui presented 252 gifts to union members and employees of My Tho Urban Works One Member Limited Liability Company; and visited and presented gifts to 46 doctors and nurses on duty at Tien Giang General Hospital.
In addition, provincial leaders and the Provincial Labor Federation also presented 97 gifts to union members and workers of Go Cong Urban Works Joint Stock Company (67 gifts) and Nhat Toan Co., Ltd. (30 gifts).

On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation also presented gifts to grassroots trade unions of units, sent Tet wishes and encouragement to all union members, workers, and laborers.
In total, during the New Year's Eve visit, 818 gifts were presented, each worth 500,000 VND in cash, with a total budget of 409 million VND.

At the destinations, provincial leaders cordially inquired, wished Tet, acknowledged and shared the silent contributions of the environmental workers and the team of doctors and nurses on duty for emergency care during the New Year's transition. Provincial leaders expressed deep gratitude to the "environmental soldiers" who silently keep the streets clean and beautiful and the doctors who diligently work in the emergency room, striving to win every chance of survival for patients, so that the spring of the community is complete and peaceful.
