Emulation is the driving force for Thai Nguyen to reach the modern industrial province

On October 30, the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thai Nguyen province, period 2025 - 2030, took place.

The Congress was attended by Mr. Nong Duc Manh, former General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council and representatives of leaders of ministries, departments, branches, unions, central agencies, leaders of Military Region 1.

The report at the Congress showed that in the period of 2020 - 2025, the Thai Nguyen economy will grow by an average of 7.3%/year, GRDP will reach more than 202,900 billion VND, and budget revenue will increase 1.7 times compared to 2020, poor households will decrease by 1.41%/year.

Many typical emulation movements have been widely implemented such as "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor - No one is left behind", "Promoting digital transformation" and "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses".

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council Do Van Chien emphasized that emulation is the driving force for Thai Nguyen to develop more comprehensively and sustainably.

Therefore, Thai Nguyen province needs to identify emulation and reward as a key task in leadership and management, linking emulation movements with specific goals and tasks, promoting the initiative and creativity of each industry in each field.

In particular, the effectiveness of emulation movements must become an important criterion to assess the capacity, sense of responsibility and the level of task completion of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the entire system.

Therefore, the requirement to innovate reward work needs to be in the direction of publicity, transparency, timeliness, substance, focusing on direct workers, people in remote areas and individuals who contribute to the community.

At the same time, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that Thai Nguyen focus on effectively implementing the movements "Innovation and digital transformation", "For the poor", "Building new rural areas" to arouse the aspiration to rise up and develop sustainably.

According to the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, emulation is not only a driving force but also a measure of the responsibility of each individual and unit in the process of building Thai Nguyen into a modern industrial province with high average income before 2030.

Speaking at the Congress event, Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong said that Thai Nguyen will seriously absorb the instructions and orientations from the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, considering them an important orientation for the emulation movement to spread strongly and become a reality.

The Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that the entire Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen will promote the spirit of solidarity, creativity, innovation, strive to compete to complete the goals, bringing the province to rapid and sustainable development in the new period.

The 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress of Thai Nguyen province is not only an occasion to summarize the movement in the period of 2020 - 2025 but also opens a new journey, arousing the spirit of creativity and innovation in the whole society.

From the emulation movement, Thai Nguyen has created strong changes in socio-economic development, maintained political stability, strengthened national defense and security and continuously improved people's lives.
